The third of the Blender pieces. Middle Eastern architecture and the mythology attached to it: the lamp, the wish, the city that arrives all at once and is made of the wrong material.
The composition is one continuous line: the lamp at the bottom, the smoke rising and widening, the city sitting on the smoke as though it were ground. Everything above the spout is being conjured, which is why the island has no underside and the coins are falling rather than stacked. Wealth in this picture is weather, not property.
Flat cyan behind, one metal in front, and a word in the background that the city keeps interrupting. It is the same three-layer construction as the rest of the series, with the physics doing more of the work.
