The second of three rendered illustrations for Rainbow, later Prism, for use in their online marketing. Same rules as the Lighthouse: one flat saturated ground, matte objects, and the light source treated as an object rather than as an atmosphere.
Both figures are lit, which is the part that is not literal. A real crossing light shows one at a time; showing both makes the object read as a whole idea instead of as a single instruction, and it gives the picture its only two accent colours. The stripes are laid in a steep perspective so the crossing has a direction. You are standing at the kerb, not looking down at it.
